Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

This policy is provided for transparency and general guidance. It is not a substitute for legal advice -- we recommend having it reviewed by counsel familiar with your specific operations before relying on it as your complete compliance policy.

1. Who We Are

Fyrd Security Corp ("FyrdSC," "we," "us") provides private security services and the FyrdSC SOC security operations platform to businesses and individuals in the greater Bay Area. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information We Collect

Website visitors: name, email, phone number, and message content when you submit our contact form, and standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically.

Job applicants: name, email, phone number, resume, and any information included in your application or cover message.

Employees: information needed for employment, payroll, scheduling, and onboarding, collected directly from you or your employer.

FyrdSC SOC platform users (guards, dispatchers, client organization staff): account information, and operational data generated by using the platform -- patrol activity, checkpoint scan timestamps and approximate location, incident reports, and dispatch records.

3. How We Use Information

To provide and operate our security services and the FyrdSC SOC platform.

To respond to inquiries and process job applications.

To manage employment, scheduling, and payroll for our staff.

To maintain accurate patrol and incident records for our clients' security operations.

To improve our services and the security of our systems.

4. AI-Assisted Features

We use AI to assist with some tasks -- for example, generating a preliminary fit score and summary for job applications, or drafting executive summaries of security operations data. AI-generated screening never makes a final hiring decision; a human always reviews and decides. AI features are explicitly instructed not to consider protected characteristics.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting and email delivery providers), when required by law, or with your consent. Client organizations using the FyrdSC SOC platform can see operational data (patrols, incidents) for their own sites and personnel only -- data is isolated between client organizations and is never visible across organizations.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, and maintain accurate business and security records. You may request deletion of your information as described below, subject to legal and operational requirements (for example, employment records we're required to retain).

7. Your Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and audit logging of security-relevant actions on our platform. No system is perfectly secure, and we continually work to improve our safeguards.

9. Contact Us
